1. Registration:
The Institution of Secondary Distance Education (ISDE) is a recognized registered body under the provisions of the Society Registration Act, 1973 (XLIV), Government of Madhya Pradesh. The institution functions in accordance with the provisions of its registered constitution and the applicable laws governing educational and social organizations.

2. Equivalency & Government Recognition:
The courses and educational activities of the institution have been granted permanent equivalency by the Board of Secondary Education, Madhya Pradesh. References regarding such equivalency are also reflected in various government notifications issued by the General Administration Department (GAD), Government of Madhya Pradesh. All relevant notifications and references are duly mentioned in the official handbook and publications issued by the institution.

3. Approval by Distance Education Council (DEC):
The institution has been approved by the Distance Education Council (DEC), Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), Government of India. The approval is recorded under File No. DEC/PIO/1730 dated 20/01/2004. This approval acknowledges the functioning of the institution in the field of Open and Distance Learning (ODL) in accordance with the guidelines of the competent authorities.
